Hello everyone. My name is Patrick Mansfield and I have been a nurse for 15 years, with experience in CICU, CVICU, and Cardiac Cath Lab. I have applied to Mary Baldwin University and University of Charleston and received and interview invite from MBU. If I do not get accepted to either program I will be taking biochem online and will try to take the advanced pathophys course offered through MBU. One thing I love about the new platform is the “my saved schools” and the discussions that will be specific to each school; allowing us to interact with other applicants/SRNAs/alumni for more insight. Thanks Sachi for always working hard to help us get into CRNA school and supporting us along the way throughout!!!!

Hi Everyone!
My name is Allie and I have been a nurse for 11 years. I have a background in trauma nursing and MICU/SICU and NICU nursing. I am retaking science classes as I have been out of school for 10 years, and need to retake classes. If anyone has classes they recommend let me know! I am looking to enroll in the Middle Tennessee advanced patho course. I love learning library to keep up my knowledge if I am lucky to get an interview when I apply.

Hi everyone!
My name is Chase. I currently have one year of nursing experience in the Burn ICU. I am currently working towards finishing my BSN and studying for my CCRN. I don’t know when I will apply yet since I’m fairly new to the nursing field. I would like to make plans to apply within the next year which is why I have joined this community! I have enjoyed scrolling through the learning library since there are a lot of resources to help me be more knowledgeable. -

Hey everyone!
My name is Hannah. I am from WV and started my nursing experience at a level 1 trauma center in SICU, where I spent 2 years gaining experience. For the past three years I have been traveling and learning so many new skills! During this time, I have developed an interest in cardiac care and want to gain experience managing a patient after cardiac surgery. So, I stopped traveling and moved back home and just started in the CCU. I plan on applying for CRNA school this year. I do need to retake chemistry and have utilized the recommendations from the CRNA Club for the best place to retake courses. My top schools are WVU, Excela, and UND. I love this new platform so far and the learning library! -
Hello everyone, my name is Camille, and I’ve been an ICU nurse for 7 years. As I prepare for my 8th year in the ICU, I’m applying again to my top CRNA schools. I applied 5 years ago and reapplied last year, but there’s still room for growth. I didn’t get an interview, and I’ve been wondering why that happened. Recently, I watched the Club CRNA on-demand workshop, “Becoming a Competitive Applicant,” and it has been a game-changer. I realized my CRNA application wasn’t competitive enough, but now I’ve gained so much insight and feel relieved knowing I’ve already completed many key steps to strengthen my application. I’m getting closer to realizing my dream of becoming a CRNA, and I’m confident this will be my lucky 8th year!
I’m incredibly thankful to have found Club CRNA, where everything is organized and easy to follow. After extensive research on the CRNA application process, I’ve understood the importance of clear, concise, and practical planning—and Club CRNA offers just that. The tools are invaluable, and I love the layout, it’s aesthetically pleasing and makes the whole process enjoyable. It’s easy to follow and important when navigating such a challenging process.
A huge thank you to Sachi for making this dream achievable, enjoyable, and stress-free! In the past, I felt I didn’t have the right information because I was overwhelmed by conflicting advice, which led to impatience. I ended up submitting my application without the clarity I needed. But now, with Club CRNA, I feel fully equipped to confidently tackle this process. I’m excited to continue using the CRNA Club tools and look forward to being accepted into CRNA school next year! 🙂

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful day.
My name is Hannah and I plan to apply within the next couple of years. One goal I am working on to improve my application is obtaining my CMC (:
My favorite feature about the new platform is saving my top schools!
Thank you Sachi for being the biggest cheerleader. We got this friends <3 -
Hello everyone! I’m super excited to be here. My name is Angela and I’ve been a nurse for almost 9 years. I started as a Neuro/tele nurse then finally started my ICU journey back in 2022. This year, I’m planning to re-take statistics since it has been over 10 years since I’ve taken the class. I’m also thinking of taking biochemistry or A&P to boost my application. I got my CCRN last year and I’m thinking of possibly getting my CNRN this year. I think that the learning library is awesome! Good luck to everyone applying this year! We all got this 🙂

Hello future CRNAs! My name is David and I have been a nurse for about two years now. I started in the RCU and now currently work in MICU. I plan to start applying at the end of 2025. Currently I am working on taking my CCRN and unit/hospital involvement. I will also be attending the AACN Mid Year Assembly in Washington D.C this April. I look forward to connecting with more of you as we work towards CRNA school!

Hello everyone! My name is Jordan Smith and I live in Austin, Texas. I have been a member of the CRNA club for almost 6 months and it has been so helpful in my application journey! I have been an ICU nurse for 2 years this month. I recently applied to my first school and am returning to start interview prep. I will apply to the rest of my schools throughout the next 5 ish months. One of the goals I want to achieve to boost my application is getting my CMC or CSC. So far, my favorite thing about the new platform is the look and functionality. Before, it was a little difficult to find all of my resources. I also really like these forums to ask questions and build relationships with people going through the same thing as me!

Hello everyone ???? My name is Juliana. I am really thankful to have found this platform! I think it will keep me in check and give me all the right tools to prepare to apply for CRNA school. I have been a nurse for 3.5 years, most of which I resided in the ICU. I have two and a half years of ICU experience and I have recently started working in PACU which I really think has solidified my decision to go back to school. While working in PACU I have met so many CRNAs and worked with many different anesthesia providers all of whom I’ve learned so much from. I do plan to go back into ICU with a goal of finding a CVICU position. I plan to attend the AANA Annual Congress this summer and hopefully make many meaningful connections! I have really only researched a couple of the schools in my area but I plan to research more with the guidance of this site. I am excited to get started!

Hello everyone, great to be here. I am Ola. I want to give my background and get feedback from Sachi and everyone here.
Educational
– My Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) was from Western Governor University, which uses a competent H-based model in which grades are given as pass or fail instead of the traditional letter-grade system. The passing grade is 3.00 grade point on a 4.00. So I get three on 4.
I have my master’s in Nursing with a traditional letter grade system and a GPA of 3.45. I graduated with work in advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, and health assessment, with two Bs and one A. I started MICU this January(2025), and I am hoping in 16 months, I will apply for CRNA school with lined up things to do, including CCRN, CMC, going to unit committee, finding leadership experience, and attending the AANA state program for the school I will be applying to. I want advice on improving my science GPA and my GPA in general since most schools require more than four on the GPA. Thank you all -
Hi Everybody! I am Sam, a CTICU nurse in Washington, D.C. for the last (nearly) two years! I’m a second career nurse and am currently working on my BSN, which I will finish in July! I joined this community to get to be surrounded by like-minded, driven nurses with the hope of getting into CRNA school in the next year or so. I will be hopefully applying starting this July for admission next year! I got my CCRN last year and have been a preceptor on my unit, as well as a member of our Ethics committee, for over a year. I’m working on my CSC and studying for the GRE, though that is taking a backseat while I finish up my BSN and taking science courses to bolster my science GPA. I’m hoping to attend the AANA Annual Conference this year in Tennessee, as well! Wishing everybody the best of luck with everything this year and so glad to meet you all and interact in the future!! Thanks everyone!

Hi!
I’m Bella! I am currently a CVICU nurse in El Paso, Texas and I have been a nurse for about 6 years now! While I currently work in CVICU, my favorite ICU is SICU and I consider myself a ‘jack of all trades’, as I have worked in SICU, MICU, NSICU, NTICU, CVICU, and as an ECMO specialist. I plan to apply this year to a couple of different schools around the country. While I am applying this year, I hope to get either my CSC or TCRN certification completed in time to give my applications the last little boost. While I loved CRNA Club before, the new platform is a dream! I especially love that I can now save the programs to my profile. I also love the new discussions/forums area, where we can all meet and talk about different things and experiences through the application process! -
Hello everyone! My name is Sarah. I currently work in a mixed ICU in Fredericksburg, Virginia! I am able to take any kind of patient, up to the hearts we recover. I am a charge nurse, preceptor, president of the professional practice counsel, and involved in research at my hospital. I am a mom of a wonderful 8 year old boy, and I am getting married in May to the love of my life. We have two dogs, a pit mix and a german shepherd/lab mix. As a family, we love to go camping, hiking, kayaking, and fishing. I personally love exercising – I am a big crossfit person – and reading in my spare time. Don’t get me wrong, I love a lazy pizza and movie night too.
It’s so nice to meet likeminded individuals who want the same thing as I do. I hope we all can achieve the goals we have for ourselves. Let’s do this!
