Has anyone heard of (or taken) the Future CRNA Learning Solutions course (https://www.futurecrnalearningsolutions.com/)? It’s a course designed for ICU nurses who want to learn basic concepts about anesthesia prior to CRNA school. It’s also open to CRNAs who want to earn CEUs! FULL DISCLOSURE: I, personally, have not taken this course, but I have heard it recommended as a great resume booster/knowledge experience for RNs interested in anesthesia. Seems like it would be a great experience to bring up in an interview too! If you’ve taken the course or know someone who has, share your thoughts!

This course is LOADED with pros!! It seems thorough, very informative, provides 40 CEUs, and is definitely something that would made an applicant more competitive. I will say though, on top of all the other fees associated with applying to CRNA school – this one can feel like its breaking the bank. I think its almost $800 ????

If I were still applying, I still might have included it in my “expected costs for CRNA apps” though (along with the AANA Annual Congress). Not only do I think it could help applicants stand out in interviews (especially if they only had 1-ish years of experience, like me), but the knowledge seems pretty valuable!
But, you’re right–the price tag is one of the downsides for sure!
