Hi friends! I wanted to put it out there that I used the AACN question bank and Nurse Life Academy (youtube, free!) to study for the CCRN and those things helped a lot! I also have online NK access so if anyone wants that I can probably figure out how to share it.

What did y’all use for the CSC??? Let me know! 🙂

    Hi Anna-

I take my CCRN next week and have heard great things about the NK online resource! Would you be willing to share that with me? I can try and figure it out on my end! CSC is next for me as well- since we’re both CVICU, I’ve heard from a few people that it’s not nearly as difficult as CCRN because we are used to the hemodynamics and CHF tx, but that’s a personal opinion! I’ve also heard “Manual of Perioperative Cardiac Surgery” is a better resource compared to others, but I haven’t researched it much yet!

    Hey Anna –

I sat for my CSC last year and used a few different resources to help out. NK is a great resource, I’ve used her for all of my certification prep. I also got the AACN practice exam and test questions. It mimicked the test environment with the interface and the question structure was very similar. I also borrowed Cardiac Surgery Essentials from my hospital’s library. It was ok, but I found the other two to be far more helpful.

Hi Anna, I’d also be interested in the NK resource if this is still available, Thank you.
