Hey @Stormy Smith !
One of the SRNA mentors here! I’ve gone through maaaaannnyyy interviews to get to where I am now. I actually made a reel on my top interview tips that you could view here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIohuoAOCRa/?igsh=MTRoc2wxdDlhcjdwbQ==
Here’s the gist of it:
1. Practice emotional intelligence (EI) questions
2. Know your “why?”
3. Don’t just say “I don’t know” when answering questions
4. Schedule a mock interviewI elaborate a little bit more on each tip in the reel. Hope this helps!

@Stormy Smith – ahh, congratulations!!! Okay so definitely everything Jordan mentioned, and of course you need to watch all the Interviewing videos in the Learning Library. Here is a list of 75 Interview Questions – the answers are all found in the Interviewing videos! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IB_Y02kt_OgjXzf_EB4EONV3rBTswUbp/view?usp=drive_link

Hey, @Stormy Smith !!
I’m Annie (one of the SRNA mentors). Congrats on your interview! Not sure what your ICU background is, but I have heard that schools (in general) are incorporating more neuro questions into the clinical portions of their interviews. So, I’d suggest reviewing basic neuro ICU drugs as well as CCRN neuro content.
I was a CVICU RN prior to applying, and I got some neuro questions in my interviews (I did not apply to Emory though).
All the best 🙂

Hi there! Everything that was stated already is totally on key! Panels normally go off of your resume experience but not always. I would recc. knowing ACLS algorithm and all meds that you use regularly. I have a PICU background but in one of my interviews they asked mne how to treat acute afib !! (which is not a peds problem!!) They do that more so to see how you will answer or act when you are caught off gaurd or dont know an answer which leads me into… practice emotional intelligence and “curveball questions”! If you are interested, I offer mock interviews at an affordable price!!! Good luck!!
