Thank you for encouraging us to attend Annual Congress, Sachi! It was an amazing and productive experience! I was able to connect with multiple SRNA’s, CRNA’s, and faculty from my target programs. I was extended opportunities for mentorship and meaningful connections were made. I also made many new RN friends who are on this path together…

I recommend heading to the First Timer Event tonight, it will be so fun! My flight got changed around a few times so I’ll be arriving later than I hoped, but see you guys Sunday am! Hey Lisa! Roza here, Suit is definitely not too much! If you’re comfortable in it, ROCK IT! We recommend business professional attire for the AANA meeting. Comfortable casual attire is acceptable for outings/ meet ups if you decide to do those. I would bring a small bag for any essentials you may want on hand. Normally there is “swag” at…

To add on to what Rosa said, comfy shoes are a MUST!! Also, when you check in, there’s usually a free AANA bag you can get near the check in counter. Most people bring this each day, again, bc the there’s *tons* of swag. Have so much fun!!

There will be RNs there! Don’t worry – once we are there I’ll connect you with other people going. I PROMISE. It’s super overwhelming, but once you’re there you’ll see, everyone is super welcoming. Don’t stress! I’m hashing out my schedule then I will post some options for us to all meet up.

Okay for this Medicus one just put SRNA, and for the NARA one, they said they won’t turn ya away but they are aiming for SRNAs (they’re all trying to recruit). I know for a fact the last few years the Medicus one – lots of RNs showed up. It’s no big deal, they’re not going to ask you for proof.
