@matthewsjm Hey Jasmine! You’ll be good with going to the Annual Congress and saving your money to attend maybe another state meeting in the future. If you don’t see anything particularly pulling for the MYA, and you want to save $ (totally get it), I’d just focus on Annual Congress. That will be great for you!

Hi everyone,
I would love to go to MYA and meet some of you all as well. I am a Florida RN and will be applying to schools in FL. I would love to see more of the political side of the profession as well that we don’t get to see bedside or during shadowing. I do feel a little intimidated just showing up. lol. -

I want to attend MYA because I’m near DC but I had planned on attending the Annual Congress also. Doing both is costly for me right now as I am also paying for pre-requs. I’ve attended a state meeting this year. It’s a hard decision because some of my applications may be to schools in the DMV area but I am also open to other states. I looked… Read more
